Last weekend, we did something we have never done, We left Annika for 3 nights. We missed her a lot but we had a lot of fun. Annika got to stay with her Grandma and Grandpa LeBaron, who I am sure spoiled her. She had fun, and I don't know if she missed us one bit. Brian and I went to St. George with some friends. We left Thursday night and got home Sunday night. On Thursday we just drove down. We stayed in Britney's grandma's house, and it was great. On Friday morning we woke up and went boating. We went to Sand Hallow, and soaked up some sun. We went out on the boat and tried to wakeboard. Then we took a turn sitting on the beach. We decided to build some tunnels in the sand.
It was fun, I really enjoyed sitting and talking to Brian, and it was nice not to worry about entertaining a kid. (We really missed her!) but it was fun. The rest of the group came back and Echo, Me, Britney and Heidi all got on the water weenie. It was so much fun. I have never rode on one before, and I don't think that I have laughed so hard in a long time. It was so much fun.
That night after we were done at the lake, we headed down to Mesquite for an all you can eat seafood buffet! Mmmmmm... It was so good. You should have seen the pile of crab legs that we had.
On Saturday we went 4-wheeling. Again so much fun. It was great, it wasn't to hot, it started raining on us a couple of times. It felt so good. We headed home, and relaxed and played some games. On Sunday morning we woke up, cleaned the house and headed home. It was such a great vacation. We were glad to get home.
And not to leave Annika out I thought I would add some cute pictures.
We have some strawberry plants and she loves to pick them and eat them. She goes over to the bushes and searches in them for more berries.
She likes playing in the water so I let her help me water the garden. (things are actually growing it is great!) She is such a good little helper and she is growing up so fast!

Stolen
About a month ago, I wanted to add some music to my MP3 player. I went to the computer and my music was gone. No big deal I thought... I will just go get my CD case, and I will put it back on the computer. So I walked down stairs to where I thought my CD case was. Not there. Ok where did I put it. I know that I have had it since we moved into our house. I asked Brian if he had seen it. He suggested that I look in the cars. Nope not there. I think that I looked in every place that I could it wasn't behind things, it wasn't in any of the boxes that are so nicely organized in the basement. Where could it be. Anyways I have been searching for this CD case FOREVER. I gave up. I was convinced that someone had broke into our house and wanted to take nothing but my CD case. (because all of our CD's are sooooo good!) Actually I was going to blame it on Matt. I think that he saw it when he was helping us move things into the house, and he just stashed it away. And he has been secretly listening to my great music. Well tonight Brian decided that he wanted some of the music that was in there. So he starts looking in all of the places that I had already looked. (Funny how he cares about it when it is something that he wants, but when it was me wanting the music, he didn't even open a box to help me look!) oh well. So after he couldn't find it, he too was convinced that they were gone, someone had "jacked" them. In my nicely organized basement, there was one box that I didn't even knew existed. It was under all of our wedding gifts that we have yet to use. (don't worry I am planning on pulling them out of their boxes on our 25th wedding anniversary.) That is when my mom says you want and need new stuff anyways. So under all of that. Brian found a box of miscellaneous electronics. Inside that box, were my CD's. CRAZY. I guess they weren't stolen. But can you believe that I have boxes that have been sitting in this house for 6 months that haven't been opened yet? I guess that probably means we don't really need whatever is in that box. Oh well I guess we are officially unpacked now! It only took us 6 months!

Splash Pad
The other day we got together with some friends and went to the splash pad in Herriman. It was a lot of fun. At first Annika didn't even want me to put her down. Then she decided that it was okay and she was running around and playing. she didn't like any of the water that sprayed down on her, but the ones that came up out of the ground she decided she liked to stand on. At one point in time she was trying to drink out of it like it was a drinking fountain. It was a great way to get out of the house, and have some fun!
