Happenings

Well Sorry that it has been a while since I posted. Things have been crazy around here! Brian started his new job yesterday, and is excited to be back at work. We still have boxes throughout the house, and I am still trying to get organized. We love our new house, it is just taking some time to get adjusted, and situated.
I just thought that I would catch you up on a few of the things that we have been up to.

Annika got moved in. Annika really liked playing in the boxes.

We had a wonderful Christmas. We got spoiled, and enjoyed spending time with family.

We got a lot of snow at our house, so we got to go buy a snow shovel. Annika loves playing in all the Snow. I don't think it has ever snowed so much in my whole life, it is just because we get to shovel a driveway now.

Brian went Ice fishing with his family. (sounds cold to me!) So me and Annika stayed home, and stayed warm. We did enjoy eating the fish that Brian brought home.

On New Years we went Ice Skating with Brian's family. It was fun, but I think we only lasted about 5 min. Let's just say the Ice Skates weren't very comfortable. But then we went back to the house and enjoyed some great fondue!

Annika tried curling her hair with Grandma LeBaron's curlers.

Annika and McKell were exhausted after we went shopping all day long.

We have been busy, but it has been such a wonderful holiday season.
We hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!

My Graduate and My One year old

This weekend was a busy one, but it was so much fun! First on Saturday Brian graduated from Utah State! Wahoo! Way to go Brian!

Of course we couldn't have a beautiful December day, it decided to drop some snow, on our drive up to Utah State we passed a truck sliding sideways down 4th north. It was scary but we made it up there. Graduation went on and Brian and all the other graduates got to walk from the field house to the spectrum through the snow! what a memorable day! I am so proud of Brian, for all of his hard work! Way to Go Bri!

Then on Sunday Annika turned one! It is so crazy that it has already been a year. Brian's family actually came up Friday night for graduation so we did a party with them on Friday night,
then we did a party with my family on Sunday night. Annika got spoiled by her grandma and grandpa's and aunts and uncles. She has lots of new toys! Thanks everyone! She ate her cake, but she didn't make a huge mess.

I think she gets dirtier just eating her dinner, I guess my frosting wasn't messy enough. It was a lot of fun Celebrating. I just can't believe that Annika is one! I think about it, and how nice it would be to have a little baby who doesn't move again. But she is so much fun and gets funner and smarter everyday.

On Monday night we went to the Mall and Annika got to sit on Santa Clause's Lap. I really thought that she was going to cry or at least not want to sit on his lap, but she just sat and looked at him. I couldn't understand what she asked him for, I hope he understood it, so that she will get it for Christmas!

Christmas Tree

The past couple of years my family has got a permit to go up to Idaho, in the woods and chop down a Christmas Tree. So this year we went up, and walked around searching for the perfect tree for our little apartment. I got worried, about Annika staying warm because it said it was supposed to snow. But we packed up her little coat and snowsuit and I think she stayed pretty warm. We hiked around for a while. Brian, Annika and I found a great little tree for our apartment, and then my parents found a great looking tree for their house. It was a lot of fun! I just thought I would provide you with some great pictures from our trip.

My little sister Allison got her mission call yesterday! She is going to the Lubbock Texas mission. She will be speaking english, and she will enter the MTC on Jan 21st. She is really excited, and we are really excited for her! We will miss her, but we know that she will be a great missionary! So Congratulations Alli!

Happy Halloween

Annika had a big day on Halloween day. We went to the mall and got her pictures taken in her costume, then we went out to Brian's work. We got to walk around Brian's work and have her trick or treat.

She had no idea what we were doing, she just looked at all the people walking around in weird outfits. I think she just didn't know what to think. Then we came home and ate dinner. Then we went over and great-grandma and grandpa LeBaron's. Then we went out to my parents house.

My dad was dressed up, and Annika actually let him hold her. We went trick or treating to my parents neighbors. Annika was such a good sport. She just walked around and smiled. She did love all of the suckers that she got! It was a great Halloween!

We carved pumpkins (on Thursday night), and Annika loved playing in the pumpkin guts!

I also just need to share this story mostly so I won't forget about it. I was on the phone the other day and I was just letting Annika walk around and get things out. I had seen her walk into her room, and then she came walking back out and she had a little basket in her hands. I thought to myself great she found something she can play with. She carried the basket around the corner, and I didn't hear anything getting pulled off the shelf so I figured we were good. I got off the phone and walked around the corner, and I found Annika just sitting in the basket, she wasn't doing anything just sitting in her basket.

What a funny kid I have!
I guess I just thought Annika looked so grown up in this outfit, but so cute, I just wanted to post it.
