My Graduate and My One year old

This weekend was a busy one, but it was so much fun! First on Saturday Brian graduated from Utah State! Wahoo! Way to go Brian!

Of course we couldn't have a beautiful December day, it decided to drop some snow, on our drive up to Utah State we passed a truck sliding sideways down 4th north. It was scary but we made it up there. Graduation went on and Brian and all the other graduates got to walk from the field house to the spectrum through the snow! what a memorable day! I am so proud of Brian, for all of his hard work! Way to Go Bri!

Then on Sunday Annika turned one! It is so crazy that it has already been a year. Brian's family actually came up Friday night for graduation so we did a party with them on Friday night,
then we did a party with my family on Sunday night. Annika got spoiled by her grandma and grandpa's and aunts and uncles. She has lots of new toys! Thanks everyone! She ate her cake, but she didn't make a huge mess.

I think she gets dirtier just eating her dinner, I guess my frosting wasn't messy enough. It was a lot of fun Celebrating. I just can't believe that Annika is one! I think about it, and how nice it would be to have a little baby who doesn't move again. But she is so much fun and gets funner and smarter everyday.

On Monday night we went to the Mall and Annika got to sit on Santa Clause's Lap. I really thought that she was going to cry or at least not want to sit on his lap, but she just sat and looked at him. I couldn't understand what she asked him for, I hope he understood it, so that she will get it for Christmas!

Christmas Tree

The past couple of years my family has got a permit to go up to Idaho, in the woods and chop down a Christmas Tree. So this year we went up, and walked around searching for the perfect tree for our little apartment. I got worried, about Annika staying warm because it said it was supposed to snow. But we packed up her little coat and snowsuit and I think she stayed pretty warm. We hiked around for a while. Brian, Annika and I found a great little tree for our apartment, and then my parents found a great looking tree for their house. It was a lot of fun! I just thought I would provide you with some great pictures from our trip.

Wahoo!

My little sister Allison got her mission call yesterday! She is going to the Lubbock Texas mission. She will be speaking english, and she will enter the MTC on Jan 21st. She is really excited, and we are really excited for her! We will miss her, but we know that she will be a great missionary! So Congratulations Alli!

Happy Halloween

Annika had a big day on Halloween day. We went to the mall and got her pictures taken in her costume, then we went out to Brian's work. We got to walk around Brian's work and have her trick or treat.

She had no idea what we were doing, she just looked at all the people walking around in weird outfits. I think she just didn't know what to think. Then we came home and ate dinner. Then we went over and great-grandma and grandpa LeBaron's. Then we went out to my parents house.

My dad was dressed up, and Annika actually let him hold her. We went trick or treating to my parents neighbors. Annika was such a good sport. She just walked around and smiled. She did love all of the suckers that she got! It was a great Halloween!

We carved pumpkins (on Thursday night), and Annika loved playing in the pumpkin guts!

I also just need to share this story mostly so I won't forget about it. I was on the phone the other day and I was just letting Annika walk around and get things out. I had seen her walk into her room, and then she came walking back out and she had a little basket in her hands. I thought to myself great she found something she can play with. She carried the basket around the corner, and I didn't hear anything getting pulled off the shelf so I figured we were good. I got off the phone and walked around the corner, and I found Annika just sitting in the basket, she wasn't doing anything just sitting in her basket.

What a funny kid I have!
I guess I just thought Annika looked so grown up in this outfit, but so cute, I just wanted to post it.

Pumpkin Walk

On Monday night for FHE we went to the Pumpkin Walk. It was so much fun! I have been getting excited to go for about a month now.

I was glad that we got to go. Annika seemed to like all of the lights, but didn't really care about much of it. The Pumpkin walk is funny, because it is cool to see what they do with all of the pumpkins, but I don't know quite why I get so excited to go. Probably because I have gone every year since I was little, and it is a tradition I plan to carry on. Annika will remember going to the pumpkin walk as well. It was a great FHE and I really enjoyed our night.

Doesn't Annika look so happy?

Annika's gloves were kinda big, she kept playing with them, her fingers only went about half way up the finger, but they kept her hands warm!

Deer Hunting

This weekend we went up the canyon and had dinner with my family. Jordan, Austin and my dad all went deer hunting all day. So when they got back, we all decided to take a little turn riding the horses. It was a lot of fun, and the canyon was so pretty with all of the leaves changing. We also used the trip up the canyon to take some family pictures. It was a lot of fun!

Brian's new job!

Well it is official. Brian accepted an offer from a Company called Xactware in Orem. So in December we will be moving to Orem. (probably not Orem, but somewhere outside of there). We are going down on Saturday to start our house hunt! We are really excited. Just thought I would let you all know!

10 Months Old

Annika is 10 months old today. It's crazy. She is such a funny girl who is so busy all of the time. She loves getting into everything that she can. She loves unrolling the toilet paper, and pulling all of the books off her book shelf. She also loves pulling off all of the DVD's. She is walking all over the place. She rarely crawls now. She loves reading her books, especially her Pet's book that has a picture of a dog on the front.

She gives kisses, and she signs fish. (It is more like the sign for milk, but she does it when she sees fish. Oh well I guess it's something huh!) This morning I got a great Video of Annika she is making her bear noise. If you ask her what noise a bear makes she will growl. It is pretty cute. She says ma (not very often) and dad, and she also will say my parents dog's name (dusty). She says dusty when she is reading her pet's book that has a picture of a dog like my parents on the front. She loves animals, and gets excited whenever she sees them. She is such a fun little girl. I just can't believe that she is 10 months old!

And She's Off

Well It has happened, Annika is walking around. Okay, not necessarily all around the house. But a good amount of the time she is walking instead of crawling. On Sunday, she just started standing up in the middle of the floor, Monday she started taking more steps, and today whenever she wants to go somewhere she stands up, and starts walking. She normally only gets in about 7-8 steps and then crawls the rest of the way, but she is walking. I just thought you all might want to see so we recorded this tonight. (her hair looks wonderful but I just took out her ponytail so her hair is standing on end. Look At her walking not her hair!)

Weekend Fun

Brian's little brother Eric left Wednesday for the MTC. He is going on his mission to Chili Santiago North. We are really excited for him. Because he spoke in Church on Sunday, Brian's older brother and his family came down from Seattle. It was really fun to see them. Annika loves playing with Abe and Henry. Abe always make Annika laugh. It was such a fun weekend, and we are glad we got to spend time with all of our wonderful family. Annika also got to play in the irrigation water. She loved it. I just thought I would post a couple of pictures, and say Good Luck to Eric!

9 Months

Annika is 9 months old. Where does time go? I can't believe that she is already 9 months old. That means that we have had her as long as I was pregnant. It is just crazy. But she is such a fun little girl. We went to the Dr. yesterday for her 9 month check up, and I just thought I would give a little update on her. She weighs 20 lbs. which is the 72% and she is 28" tall which is the 67%. The Dr. said she is just a healthy little girl. (That is definitely eating well!) She just got her first tooth on her bottom right. She is into everything and she is getting ready to walk. She is such a brave girl and reaches for different pieces of furniture to walk back and forth between them. She pulls herself up to anything that she can, and climbs over everything. She also loves reading her books. She is such a blessing to us.

Lagoon

Last weekend we went to Lagoon. My dad's work has a day for their employees to go so, we went down. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to have my family there, because they watched Annika and Brian and I just had fun and rode as many rides as we could. Brian is a little bit more adventurous when it comes to rides than I am. I went along on most of them, and we had a great time.

Annika got to do a fish pond with Grandpa Jarrett. She got a little whistle. Thank goodness she doesn't know how to use it yet. (from the look on her face, I don't think she knows how to use the fishing pole yet either!)
Jen, Alli, Austin, Brian, My aunt Jenise, my mom, and my cousin Kaylee rode the scrambler. Doesn't it look like they are having fun?

Annika also got to ride the Carousal. I think she liked it. The whole time it was going she didn't really do a whole lot, but she smiled when it was over.

We all went on the Animal Train. Annika loves animals so she liked looking at all of them. I think that we wore her out, but we had a bunch of fun.

Annika loves standing up by the dishwasher when I am loading and unloading it, but Sunday morning Brian was unloading it, and I guess she decided she wanted to crawl in it.

This is just a cute picture of Annika chillin, in her rocking chair, reading her books.

Archer Throw

On Tuesday night Brian's work had a Summer BBQ. It was fun to meet all of the people he works with, and talk to them. They had a couple of games that you could play. One of the games was the archer throw. The archer is one of the hand held devices that they make. All of their hand held devices are supposed to be really rugged. So you can drop them from high places, or drop them in water and they will still work. So they had an archer throw to see who could throw it the farthest. We were throwing them pretty far, and at the end they still worked. Well I won the woman's division. So I thought I would show you all the cool trophy that I won! Wahoo. I think that Brian is the most excited because this beautiful trophy gets to sit on his desk for the next year! (Sorry!) But the BBQ was a lot of fun!

Also, way off the subject of the Archer throw but we got Annika's pictures taken earlier this month and I just thought I would post them for you to see, because I think they are so cute!
