Annika and her friends Faith, and Hadley got to wear their matching Easter skirts to church today. Valerie, Charity and I made their skirts together. It was so much fun to make them, and I think that they turned out so cute! The girls looked so cute in their skirts and they loved that they all matched.
While we were out taking pictures of the girls we decided to take a family picture. Look at that cute family, and that huge belly. I am on the countdown. I decided the other night, I would be fine if the dr. said he wanted to start me in 2 weeks. :) ok I know he won't but I think I am at the point that I am ready to be done being pregnant. I love being pregnant, and feeling the baby move around, but I am at the point where moving around is getting harder. I wake up in the morning and my hips ache because I have slept on them all night, because I can't lay on my back and I can't lay on my belly. Anyways, I am getting ready for this baby to be here.

Little Sister
Annika has been going with me to the Dr. I tell her that she is going to get to listen to her little sister. She gets really excited, and she knows that the dr. and nurses give her stickers and suckers. Last week the nurse let Annika help her with the machine that listens to the heart beat.
The other day we were watching a show on TLC about Quints and all of the babies were crying. Annika doesn't like to hear babies crying. I asked her if her little sister was going to cry. She got a sad face and said yes. I then asked are you going to help me make her happy. Annika then got all excited and told me she would share her strawberries. Then we had to have a talk about how her little sister will only drink milk.
The cutest.. We were riding in the car, and she asked if we were going to my dr. I said nope not today. We will go again in a couple days. And then she asked. Can we go get my little sister today? I had to explain that we couldn't today but that she would be here soon.
She is going to be such a good big sister!

For your Musical Enjoyment
Annika loves playing the piano and singing. This is the latest song we have been learning. Hope you enjoy. (Just try not to pay attention to the big belly behind her.)

Anniversary Celebration
This weekend Brian and I got to Celebrate our Anniversary. It isn't until tomorrow, but Annika's grandma and grandpa offered to have her spend some time with them. So Friday night we dropped Annika off and we went to see Alice in Wonderland. After the movie we went to eat at Texas Roadhouse. mmmm... It was good. It is always fun to spend time alone with Brian. I don't think we left the restaurant until 10:00. After dinner we just came home and enjoyed sleeping in on Saturday morning.
On Saturday we decided to go bed shopping for Annika. So we bought a bed and went home and got it set up. We went and picked up Annika and told her that we had a surprise for her at home. When we got home we brought her up to her room and she ran over to her bed and jumped in. She said this my new bed and pointed at her crib and said that bed for my sister. She has done really good sleeping in her big bed. It was fun to surprise her with her new bed, and it was a lot of fun to spend some time alone with Brian. Thanks Karen and Gavin for letting Annika spend the night. It was a great weekend!

This is the first time Annika got in her new bed.

Now we need to convert the crib from a toddler bed back into the crib, and move it up, so it will be ready for the new little baby. On Friday I went to the dr. and they set all of my appointments until the end of my pregnancy. I think it made me think about getting things ready a little more seriously. After I left the dr. Annika and I went to Walmart, and I bought a pack of newborn diapers. I guess slowly but surely we are getting ready.

Everytime we go outside wether there is snow on the ground or not, Annika wants to ride her bike. Last fall she couldn't pedal and this spring she has gotten pretty good at it. On Wednesday I walked and followed her around the neighborhood while she rode her bike. I just watched her and thought, she is getting so big. She did so good!

Hobbies?
Well If you asked Brian what I did this past week, his answer would not be anything to do with the house. It is a mess. I have been trying to catch up today, but I am still working on it. Anyways... just so that I can say that I did accomplish something last week I am posting some pictures of my latest projects. I had so much fun...
One of my room mates from College is having a little girl, and she had a baby shower yesterday so I made her this. I loved the bright colors and the back is striped. I thought it turned out cute.
Then I made this one for me... I started it thinking it was going to be a car seat cover... Now I am wondering if I want to just keep it as a blanket. What do you think I should do?
Then I made some burp cloths with the left over's from Carissa's car seat cover.
Then I sewed a little something for the baby, I am making one for Annika and hopefully that will be done later this week. So stay tuned and I will let Annika be my model. But be excited!
